Practice Nurses

Our practice nurse, Lesley Nixon, is available to advise you on many aspects of health care and is fully qualified to carry out the following:

	Various Clinics Asthma, Diabetes, Well Man and Well Woman and Hypertension
	Ear Syringing
	BP Check
	Blood Tests
	Children and Adult Immunisations
	Travel Vaccinations
	ECGs
	Cervical Smears
	Wound Dressing and Suture Removal
	Urine Testing
	Smoking Cessation
	Menopausal Clinic (in conjunction with the doctor)

CHD Nurse Practitioner

Our nurse practitioner, Ann Short, is primarily responsible for coronary heart disease, but is fully qualified to carry out all of the above.

Practice Manager

Our practice manager, Mrs Julie Shaw, is responsible for the day-to-day management of the practice and also co-ordinates the work of the other staff.

She will be pleased to discuss with you any non-medical problems you may have and is happy to receive any suggestions for improving the services offered.

Receptionists

Our senior receptionists, Eileen Colclough and Lisa Devaney, lead a team of receptionists trained to do a difficult job well.

The reception team will be your first point of contact with the practice and they will help you use the services provided. Sometimes they may need to ask one or two questions to judge the urgency of your request, but it is a legal requirement that confidentiality of patients' records is maintained at the highest level by all staff.
